BlueJayWayBlog - Preface

This artist and persistent voice for re storing democracy has finally decided to give up trying to communicate with the command and control operatives of the existing commodity spectacle paradigm, namely our elected officials and the media. I will from now on publish my observations and suggestions here in this BlueJayWayBlog. Hopefully, I can make some observations that are of value to you, the community of human beings working towards real solutions. With the real actions that only we citizens on the ground can make. It is up to us. It is clear that that our existing leaders will not do it!

My Bay area elected representatives, even a liberal as some of them fashion themselves to be, continue to facilitate the NeoCon Shock & Awe campaign to obliterate true, democratic republics world-wide. Dianne Feinstein recently voted to install the military officer that commanded the NSA illegal eavesdropping as head of the CIA, a civilian agency in the balance of power. Aside from the fact that he has broken the law via illegal wiretapping and should technically be in jail, he will now break more laws as the official torturing agent that will now be breaking Geneva Treaty agreements and still be an employee of the US military. The whys and wherefores of the democrats allowance of a Big Brother government can only be interpreted as conscious agreement with the NeoCons that breaking the law and violating constitutional limits is acceptable policy. Why is Bush$Co not being impeached? I have read that he has broken 750 laws and even writes handwritten additions to laws that he signs that contradict the content of what he has just signed. This spectacularly illegal behavior, literally on a minute by minute basis, all the while telling lies like flowing water, is a total violation of any democracy. I have always thought that well thought out arguments with consensually understood truths supporting them will affect decision making by our "leaders". Apparently not.

What good is it to communicate with elected "leaders" who continue to compromise with evil? (I'm sorry, but killing 100,000 innocent civilians of a soveriegn nation, on a lie, is evil.) So if they are actually the enemy (I don't know what else to conclude) and we need to elect all new representatives, let's get about figuring how to do that. Legislating change won't make it so, as those at the top serve only their upper class constituency. Corporations control legislation and work environments. Media contols public perceptions just enough to keep the common folk in line and keep them coming back to the Democrats for relief they are never going to get. So we, the common folk, are going to have to realize we are the huge majority that is being duped into subverting our own existence by serving them, rather than they serving us, as they are supposed to do. The postmodern fashion myth that there's no use to try to institute change because "nothing will ever change" is only realized because one accepts that myth as reality. I refuse to accept this myth. No one should.

So this blog is my contribution to a "dialog of the commons". Only together, working individually, can we change our behavior to defund and unplug the power and money control mechanisms of the existing system. I think we need to become a visable and identifiable "parallel culture" to the authoritarian consumer cult that is the oil & commodity paradigm. It is a dinosaur headed for extinction that must not be allowed to take us with it.

This weekly blog will present my analysis of current events and attempt to present functional solutions to the Red&Blue Party official party line that has brought us to crisis in the first place. So much of what gets presented in the media and even in personal blogs, is rehashed canned presentations of the sanctioned limited options of the existing consumer paradigm. It seems to me that those Red&Blue Party options are always limited by an arbitrarily myopic range of solutions generated from the propoganda of the consumer culture economy. It is clear that the commodity, consumer growth based economy has hit the wall of reality (limits of a built-out planet) and is now a failed paradigm. It is also clear that we, the citizens of Earth, must self-organize from the ground up, citizen by citizen, and implement an entirely new, reconfigured civilization based upon a planet maintenance paradigm, rather than a consumption paradigm.

The most obvious and important first change must be the elimination of corporate personhood. Nowhere in the Constitution are any rights for non-persons. In essence, these corporate "inorganic beings" have much more power than citizens. When this illegal activity is ended we can get our democracy back. Why don't we hear of this idea in political circles? Duh! They're the ones with time to lobby and the money to fund it. I've written my three national representatives to request personal meetings with them so that I could hear them explain the tax rip-off described in "Perfectly Legal" and have received no reply. The medium is the message. Our representatives are rich themselves and they serve their constituency, namely themselves. Let's pull the plug, now.
